maintaining PDM data is already a pain with single configuration, not to mention that the file version upgrade utility is completely broken and iy is even more broken with multi configuration parts. the simpler yhe better.

In pdm the best would be a single configuration file, simple and effortless to maintain with the bugged tools sw offers.

I do not use the sldsetting file for mine. anyway I discovered this problem while editing the admin image deployment options on a unrelated workstation: the settings reverted back every time I closed the option screen.

IMHO at SW someone had the idea to simply hide what on other cad would simply show as an error. So no matter how dangerous, potentially illogical or simply wrong, action we performed the tree is SHOWN as error free, withou bad red icons that are a sore in the eye if you use another CAD. like orphane...

Little suggestion. Use undo rather then unsupress. Undo will bring the child features back to unsupressed.
