This is a late reply, but I have accidently overwritten the BOM item number before. (I think I did something with the BOM balloon to change the number accidently.) It's hard to figure out that is what happened. Double check that you don't have anything overwritten in the BOM.

Do you have flag notes in the drawing? I have had some interesting issues around flag notes. Though, I think I couldn't open the drawing. We tend to have multipage assembly drawings with lots of flag notes and the numbering continuing on the next page (Manually adjusted through paragraph properties)...

Our VAR suggested having a "No longer employed" group. We move users there and they have no permissions anymore, but are still in the database. I may add the "No longer employed" or some acronym to their full name. That looks like it could be pretty useful.

Thanks. I don't think we want to add the custom property (We have quite a few released parts at this time.), so I guess I will find out about modifying the script and not worrying about that property.

In the end, the project we were quoting that would have needed this, ended up not happening, so we didn't go with anything. I have played a little with the online free Simscale. I have seen they have a connector to SolidWorks now, but they didn't when I played with it.

We did get a quote on SolidWorks Flow and the cooling module. We have added it our comparison. We have a potential project that has a very intense thermal management design. We don't have the project yet. We may not get budget for software until we get the project.

From the Find References, you can also save the list out or print it. We've had some messes to untangle at a previous job where we had a big assembly and had to go through and make sure everything was looking at the right thing.

Because they added multibody to sheetmetal, you can now copy/mirror bodies. I haven't ended with a multibody sheetmetal part, but I have had multiple bodies that I brought together later into one.
