SolidWorks tends to tangle itself so having 2 sessions leaves it with a bigger knot and more chances of issues/crashing. IV does too. Don't change any system setting, ribbon, menu bar. Started VS project to convert registry to SQL database.
I was using MS Access and Borland Database engine before.

Some router has build in Cloud service. I backup to hard drive at home. Carry a hardware encrypted portable drive. Do you trust yourself to setup a cloud backup on the internet? I use Google drive to share files. Not as backup. 2T on Google One is $14 a month. Do you need a cloud backup or just share?

Do not import/export on first start of SW. Need to close SW to save registry settings. Restart SW then export/import. I don't know if SW create all the values.
