Mesh2Surface - Petition

Working with mesh data in Solidworks is always challenging, to say the least. This is definitely one of the better options to take a look at if needing to do some reverse engineering BUT now they're being "kicked out" by good ole DDS. Definitely give this petition a sign if you use this plugin or have ever thought about using it.....

If Dassault truely is doing this, then Mesh2Surface should approach SolidWorks competitors. How absurd to ask someone to discontinue a program because it brings no added value from their point of view. Who are they to determine what is added value and what isn't?

Sounds more like one of the following:
A) The plugin does what SolidWorks is trying to do and most likely more efficiently. SolidWorks would then be trying to discontinue it to play the card of "Well, it's not as easy as it seems!"
B) The plugin highlights much of their failures and makes them lose face.

While I do not use the program, I have added my name to the petition.

How will DS enforce this decision?
Anyone can write plugin and anyone can install and use it.
How will DS stop anyone from using it?

And yes, please make it for Inventor.

I won't sign to keep it in SW ()

Haven't seen them do anything to HSMWorks and it is now owned by AutoDesk.

Is this being done to push folks towards their 3DX apps and away from SW desktop?

There isn't anything on the 3DX platform that could replace what is being offered by the Mesh2Surface.
