Re: Decoding Part Material
Presumably there's no drawing that would shed more light on the matter? Where did the model come from, can you not ask the originator? Unfortunately, we inherited the model with no drawing. Yes, contractor has been contacted. I have seen cryptic descriptions like this before, just wondering if anyo...

Decoding Part Material
I have a model where Material is called out as "PW70:32:C1:0:1:2:Re:8" and Mass Properties shows density as .10lb/in3. How would I figure out what material is referenced?

Inventor and Solidworks PDM
We have a new project with very large Inventor assemblies and approximately 300 drawings. Can SW PDM Standard recognize the relationships between Inventor parts, assemblies and drawings? Will the Inventor pack and go tool be the best way to get the files into PDM? This is our first project using Inv...

Agreed. We were on the verge of switching to Draftsight when they pulled that stunt. Glad we kept up our AutoCad seats.

Ok, something new to me - I have a wiring diagram where next to a switch is the text "MAINT". Can anyone tell me what it means?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: SW 2019 crashes when attempting hatch edit
I tried copy and paste the view - still crashed when attempting to edit hatch. Ran out of time and had to submit the drawing as-is. I might take another look later when i have some time.

Glenn:
1. Only on this drawing, only this view.

SW 2019 crashes when attempting hatch edit
I am attempting to edit the direction of a hatch in a section view. No matter what I do, including deleting the hatch, SW crashes. Has anyone else seen this?

Re: Siemens branded dial calipers by Starrett
Have to pass on the tuba, thanks. I haven't touched one since my Navy Band days, back when bass guitar players had to double on tuba and tubaists had to play bass. There were some not-so-good bass and tuba players back then...
