New enhancements are now added every service pack. For users like me who are in LDR mode a lot, having breadcrumbs available in LDR mode is huge (2024 SP1). UU

xSurface doesn't even come close to nPower in terms of capability. I've spoken with the PM about the need to step outside of the CAD lane and start looking around the SubD modeling world because there's a lot to be desired. nPower is about the best we get natively. Check to see what the new subscription includes. Most likely they added several new tools and services to justify the price increase.
I am not saying that this will make you change your mind, but I hope they did not increase the price without offering extra benefits.

Thanks to all for the suggestions. For me, the fact that a twisted face cannot be knitted at both sides to a surface body is very interesting.

So, no closed continuous strip of knitted faces can be created in SW if there is a half-twist anywhere in this "chain" of faces.

Huge? A minor annoyance at best for me. The primary planes are hidden in all my templates. They are hidden in all my files, too. That being said I am using the magic “Q” key to temporarily reveal them when I needed. :) So useful! Press Q, select a plane, start a sketch. The plan hides automatically...

I have added one more "top-secret" enhancement in SW2023 in the original post. Why are these not documented in the What's New? Some of these seem little, but one of my students told me today that one of them will save her a ton of clerical work (clicking once vs clicking all over the place).
