Re: IMPORTING TOOL AND HOLDER MODELS

Ok, using the sketch did work with A LOT of dinking around. Comes in as 2D then need to delete lines to revolve properly. Was able to get it where i want it.

Thanks for the idea SPerman!! It will work for now until I figure out something better and faster.

SPerman

That is worth trying. The concern now is there is documentation on how one can import the entire model yet I do not see a "How To" anyplace. It would be better, IMO, if we could import as we would from Mcmaster-Carr or other vendors with ease.

Re: SOLIDWORKS CAM BEVEL OPTIONS UNKNOWN

I used a countersink with modifications to the tool info. That seems to work. If need be we will adjust the dimensions at the machine.

SOLIDWORKS CAM BEVEL OPTIONS UNKNOWN

There is no tooling option for Solidworks CAM, what is everyone else using as a work around? I thought of modifying another tool option for this. My concern is accuracy. Currently we are running our parts on our old mill machine but we want to get these on our Haas VF10. I feel like I either modify ...
