just grey out the icon that should be selected to set the revolving axis and then you will get a picture of the weird bug, but i already managed to fix that myself by pressing the sketch view button etc... so i basically managed to get my Revolved 3d profile, but then noticed that the whole concept...

As long you include a single dimension on your drawing its no point to pollute the paper with scale and sheet size. Standard scale for views. . Its just dumb... ok thanks i try to check those, but now the inner ring seems to be smaller, but the filler should be going smoothly from the inner ring to the outer/bottom ring without any flat surfaces on the top... altho i dont even have a clue if that would even be possible at all... and the tilted/cut cylinder...

ok thanks i can try that, but maybe the whole fill issue is that the 1st inner ring has(should have) a smaller diameter than the outer rotating ring? so the filler area from the top of inner half ring has to(should) move outwards towards the bigger ring... altho i still dont have any clue how to mo...

Hmm ... still hard to understand ... I think you will have easier to express your self if you use a paper + pen and upload photo from your phone. Try to draw end result in somewhat isometric view. This "key" is best done with a simple protrusion.
Feature -> Protrusion.
Select offset plane and click on surface A.
Adjust the distance to your liking (B).

That was a quick example. Frequently you don't want to mirror the entire body, just a single feature. Try to mirror constructions surfaces ... It adds even more complexity with complex geometry that needs help of construction surfaces and projection if you also have to think ahead that you only can...

My current plan is to make parts with multiple configurations, and then save each configuration as a new part. If I need to fix something I can go back and do it from that one "template part" and save out the affected variants again, instead of having to go into each part and do the same....

SE isn't showing a warning or error that I see, just the link icon if you edit the sketch, but its not obvious that its connected to anything. I guess its remembers the edge from history that isn't there anymore? Not really sure how I feel about that, like its linked to a ghost I can't see anymore....
