Re: Does anyone actually use 3DExperience in a productive manner?
Okay today I have a 3DX success story that involves actual success! We're ramping up for a limited manufacturing run with our product version 1.1, and our CEO decides to save some pennies by recycling some leftover parts and pieces we have from our 1.0 run. Now, we've done a great deal of design wor...

Re: Does anyone actually use 3DExperience in a productive manner?
Do you have any Attributes set to read only on platform for your SW files? If so, that may be why save is failing. There is a regression in FD01 that was just released over the weekend that causes save to fail if an attribute on platform is set to read only. To work around it you can remove read on...

Re: Does anyone actually use 3DExperience in a productive manner?
Got some more 3DX success stories for y'all... I'm on Day 4 with no cloud save capability, and the application engineer from my VAR admits to being stumped. The path we're going down now involves me creating an entirely new SolidWorks ID and 3DX user profile because, and I'm quoting here, "I th...

Re: Does anyone actually use 3DExperience in a productive manner?
Just chiming in here with another tale of unbridled success from the 3DExperience Platform... Dassault pushed an update over the weekend, with a hotfix this afternoon; after installing both (a process which took over an hour and two machine restarts), I am now ONCE AGAIN unable to save any of my fil...

Re: Does anyone actually use 3DExperience? Still waiting.......
Hi all, I have some tales from the trenches... We started using SolidWorks Connected on 3DX about three months ago, as a direct replacement for F360. Yes, we're a startup, how did you guess? Anyway, our CEO really liked the sound of all those corporate buzzwords in all the 3DX promo materials and si...

New forum, who dis?
Hello all, new user here! I've been doing various CAD work since I first learned to use Drafix CAD back in high school (back before AutoCAD ate it...). Since then I've used VectorWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion360, OnShape and SolidWorks, although my primary these days is...3D... ...3DExp... :x ...3DE...
