We turn RealView off with these registry settings:

You don't need to have online licensing for it to work, we have network licenses. My understanding is that you have to have the "Help make SOLIDWORKS products better..." setting turned on in the System Options so it'll send the session details back to SOLIDWORKS. I use it to get a feeling ...

Hey Mike,
I have this problem when I have the "SW Last Saved With" column turned on in file explorer and I'm moving files into the directory with those turned on. The only way to make it lower the CPU usage after is to kill explorer.exe and restart it in Task Manager.
