To find out if a part is made of sheet material, you should watch for the presence of "Sheet-metal feaтure" in the tree. "FLAT-PATTERN" will be visible in the Configurations tree only after you have placed a view in the drawing.

There is actually some difference. Artyom's macro works with a batch of assemblies and renames the file in the assembly as well. For me, I copy parts or assemblies and rename them along with the drawing.

Open part or assemblies. Run the macro. Enter a new name. If there is a drawing, it will put the same name on the drawing.

OK I got it. Validation is required for parts and assemblies, which affects the extension. I will fix it. Thanks.

A macro with a counter
A macro that saves .sldprt, .sldasm and .slddrw as .jpg, .png, .tif and more with a counter to add a sequence number to the name.
