I can't see your whole text box in the video. When you add a new line, the box increases in size, but if the box is already up against the top of the screen, maybe it's pushing back. This was old autocad functionality. It took SW a long time to add it to the software.

And I can model which ever part I want "first". I can put it in a new assembly, guess what? Fix at origin. Keep going for the rest of the parts. I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing. Not everyone does machine design, or straight edged furniture. Nice flat faces, straight edges....
