I'm on SW2022 SP5.0 and Microsoft Office Home Business 2019 correctly installed and updated.
Still getting the error
I can't even save the BOM as XLS or XLSX.
This is very annoying.

Re: PLM options for SolidWorks?
We use PRO.FILE. It is a nightmare... There is not full communication between SW and PRO.FILE. We can't see the status of parts/assembly/drawings on SW Tree. It is not relieble at all. We have had lost of data sometimes. Configurations are very difficult to manage.

Re: Appearance Issue
I did some 'cut' that changed the number of bodies and their arrangement on this part with respect to the original part, probably that messed up body reference to appearances... Reboot didn't solve the problem. I applied appearance to features downstream on the feature tree in order to overwrite the...

Re: How to show some components of a sub assembly as phantom and see through in drawing of upper level assembly?
I've done it in the past using Alternate position with 2 configs like you just said and it works very well. Mine was a small project so I did'n noticed any slow down in the drawing. I think the newer versions of SW allows to create alternative position with Display States, too. So you could have onl...

There should be a bug... I used materials and appearances for years with Solidworks but I've never seen something similar.... Re: sketch dimensions and configurations
If is just the case of multiplying the dimension by a factor, you can make a fake sketch at the beginning of the feature tree, then draw a line with length=1 (i.e. D1@Sketch1 = 1). The following dimensions you want to change will be multiplyed by "D1@Sketch1". You only have to configure D1...

Re: Trim around text
Other solution could be to extrude the text - therefore you get a solid and the sketch text will be hidden - then edit the sketch containing the lines and use 'Convert Entities' command selecting the top surface of the text. You are then able to cut inner lines.

There also a quick way to do it. Create the pattern first, then double click on the pattern items in the tree -> double click on the dimension of the pattern and edit typing "=" and click on the dimension to link on the part. See gif attacched.

Hi Justin, you can do a big rectangular cut, as big as the perimeter. Then you can add full-length stripes .250" thick in the horizontal and vertical directions. You will end up having A+B instances instead of A*B. I haven't tested it, so I'm not sure it's going to be faster. Hope it works. Se...

Re: Any way to show one part of an subassembly in the BOM?
Hi Marco, an option could be you create a furter configuration of the subassembly, say 'config2' not set to 'hide' and suppress the parts not to be sold separately. Then, you insert a second instance of this subassembly in the main assembly in 'config2' state.
