If the taper angles are identical, you can just use a single coincident mate between the circular edge at either end of the taper of one part and the conical face of the other part. SOLIDWORKS will work out where the two entities meet, even if it is outside the part boundaries:

I have nearly no idea what I'm looking at but when I go to that page and reload I get 2 errors and 29 warnings. When I click the notifications button I get an additional 4 errors and a duplicate warning. image.png Does it behave correctly if you browse there with an Incognito window? (CTRL+SHIFT+N)...

I'd like to start a discussion on file management techniques and best practices. Do you sort files by project? During design, yes. Project folder with Mechanical/Electrical Design subfolders. Upon release, everything is renamed and moved (automatically) to folders containing blocks of 1000 numbers....
