One of the options I suggested to my son was to go ahead and download SW now and see if it will “run” on his Surface Pro. I would take a cloud version of SW that is stable, does what you think it should, is consistent, doesn't run out of resources and crash and many more over the Desktop version I currently have.

I'm with ya. Our dryer went out and I couldn't get the motor off the frame. So, I put it at the curb and got a used one off of Craigslist.
