But if you can't wait, stop it and run it overnight. unfortunately I ran it over the weekend...I couldn't wait for it to take seven hours to save after running it  I just wanted to add that something I've done in the past but failed to do this time was to ...

For us users here that is our argument, Configurations, Design Tables, Macros, Custom Properties and most people don't realize "Diagnostics", are all portions of the comparison that will never be equaled between the two. The Diagnostics part in SolidWorks is where you make it or break it,...

Re: 1st Angle versus 3rd Angle projection
Both are equally confusing if one cannot 'see' in 3D to begin with. ^^^^^^This. The argument that one is better than the other is typically by people that have trained themselves to do one and can't do the other. Both are equally as easy if one simply visualizes the part in 3D to begin with. The ab...

I do a lot of simulations. I've noticed that assemblies containing simulations/motion-studies always take waaay longer to save. If you check the assembly file-size before and after adding a motion study you can see why. The 'frames per second' you set in the properties has a huge effect, a motion s...

Re: 1st Angle versus 3rd Angle projection
One of the bass-ackward things about 1st-angle is that they do sections in 3rd-angle. Sections are based the direction the section is looking at, which way the arrows are pointing. They really don't have an angle of projection. Although confusing you could do a section view in third angle and drag ...

But 1st angle makes no logical sense to me except that Europe went with it because its was developed from the first quadrant of coordinate systems, and 1 comes before 3 so it must be right. 3rd angle makes more logical sense, the right view of the part to the right of the front and the top is above...

A program in a unrecoverable loop would pretty much look the same to Windows as a program running normally. Re: (Need Help) To Win The Lottery
There's multiple ways to look at this, of course... If they don't currently have the 7 SW licenses, the first year is going to be expensive 28k vs 3.5k. But each year after that it'd be 9.1k for SW vs. 3.5k. So over 5 years the total cost of ownership would be 73.5k vs 17.5k or about 11.2k per year...

You've changed the weight of the assembly. It might not matter on a large structure, but on a tiny device meant for space flight it might.
