We just upgraded us from 2021 SW to 2023. While the files are associated to solidworks I've lost all the individual icons for Sheet, part and assembly. They just all show the 2023 SW icon box. When I go to change the icon I have to go all the way to "Look for another app on this PC", which...

Because it take use space and doesn't even line up with sheet ruler. Recording is useless about 80% of the time. It doesn't capture everything you do, and often the methods it uses are not the right thing if you're writing a macro. I completely agree but in my case, IE just learning and or just trying to get something done, it's a good "starting point". Wh...

Is there a way to insert a PDF at a higher quality into a drawing? PDF is fine, I insert it, very bad.
Next step is to convert the PDF to an image but I don't have a decent converter and all the online ones seem to do the same thing, knock the resolution down.

I have to give Onshape kudo's for stability. I did some pretty clunky stuff and being a "New user" sure I did not do them the most eloquent way. Not only did it not crash but it actually did exactly what it was supposed to unlike some other systems that shall remain nameless tends to do.
