Well turns out No.7 has made its way in to SW24, which is nice.

Re: Customer Portal Being Removed
I used Ansys at an old job and it was absolutely dreamy to use. For how powerful it was the UI made it so clear how to achieve what you wanted, it really is an absolute triumph of a software package. I'd been on Abaqus for a bit before and I could never get past the "unitless" UI where you...

Change in and of itself is fine.
Badly communicated, poorly implemented change of dubious need or merit is what we're generally complaining about here.

Yeah I get the same with only two displays. Never had an issue on 2019 as the Command Manager would never truncate like that (which is another bugbear, it's only dropping one icon which is the same width as the Expand Menu button!).

It's a rare example of DS seemingly listening to what people wanted. Everyone complained that the old ER system wasn't good and needed changing, mostly to include a conversation element to an idea and better transparency of what the popular ideas are. Moving it to Swym achieves both of those goals.

We put the hardware where it would be assembled in real life. So your top assembly file for us, would be Motor, Gearbox and then all associated fasteners to hold the two together, which would then become the manufacturing BOM. Component patterns are used extensively to get all the fasteners where th...

I've also largely given up on Swym improvements, but I do still care about the ER process. I'll concede the current system isn't perfect, but moving it all on to Swym seems an even worse step, not helped by a general lack of communication as to how it's going to work.
