There has always been a lot of hostile feedback, but lately, this looks different. There is a growing focus from customers on the bigger business direction, less on the product details. I always contact my VAR as apart from anything else I can always share the relevant files with them, which isn't necessarily the case with the forum / Swym. However I'm fortunate that I have an excellent VAR that rarely fail to deliver a solution.
