You may be better off using eDrawings and then saving it as a HTML, which is my preference.. I have seen this on a microsoft surface. We have a few engineers who use solidworks only intermittently, so they have surfaces....

And needless to say, they are NOT Solidworks friendly. No fix as far as I know except freeing up RAM.
