Inserting a sequence of numbers in a sketch

Unread post by bentlybobcat »

Hiya,

I do a lot of work with ship layout and one of the basic layout items for all ship systems is a baseline sketch defining the frame spacing.

The layout of the actual spacing is easy enough, but it would be AWESOME if I could generate a sequence of text labels to call out the frame numbers.

As typically there are 150 of these, manually doing this is just a bit tedious. Particularly with the complete lack of text handling capability in sketches.

A quick spelunk around the innerwebs provided nothing.

Is this possible?

thanks
