SW2022 SP5 task convert blowing up dxf files

Unread post by mp3-250 »

spr1242007 seems to hint at dxf blowing up if converted with task

I have half my account that block me from the download section (3d experience uses my old mail while solidworks the new one and it became a mess) so someone could kindly look for a task dxf convert hotfix over there for me?

or any other way to fix it.
thank you in advance

solved exporting DXFs with a newer version. R14 Instead R12, with that task In 2022 is exporting again without messing up our drawings.

There does not seem to be a 2022 hotfix to address this issue. There are only 3 general hotfixes listed for SW2022 and none of them are for this issue. If it is a special hotfix, you may have to contact your VAR.

The SPR states that the problem is fixed in SW2023 SP1.

Thank you for looking into this issue.
I didn't know a special hotfix would be available through my VAR... well I hoped to bypass my VAR as the process to interact with them is quite painful.
I noticed this problem on the verge of deploying 2022 so 1 whole year for one of our Dept. with another batch conversion that broke down.
we had pdf conversion and edrawing conversion broke down every other year... and now this.

A real dumpster on fire...my god.

I don't know if an actual 'special' hotfix exists for this. It's just a possibility. Some hotfixes are more technical and require your VAR to work with you to make sure the hotfix is applicable for you, so they aren't available in the general downloads area. The General Hotfixes listed in the downloads are safer and should work for anyone.

There is a 2022 SP5 hotfix for this SPR. This one addresses an issue where the PDF output file has annotations from the title block moved outside the drawing paper space. Please contact your VAR to get this hotfix.
