Bit odd this one. I had Solidworks 2019 and 2021 on my computer, I decided that the likelihood of needing 2019 now was very unlikely so removed. Which now I wish I never did
Draft analysis crashes Solidworks 2021sp5.1 ever time you press the button with vcruntime140:000066c0
All other similar analysis tools work though? deviation, zebra, curvature, undercut, parting line, symmetry, thickness & compare
Other oddities -
Thumbnail previews have gone in file management.
In file explorer right click and open with shows a icon of solidworks 2021 but with the words SOLIDWORKS 2019 next to it!
Any thoughts on cleaning this mess up would be helpful.

Removed old Solidworks and now draft analysis not working
Backup your settings.
Run repair on 2021sp5.
Some common files, Windows settings got removed by 2019 uninstall.
Worse case, reinstall 2021.

Sounds like the registry is messed up. You'll need to do "clean uinstall" and then reinstall.
There are a few different ways. You can scan the web for some.

Re: Removed old Solidworks and now draft analysis not working
Yeah, probably go with the repair but I fear it is a reinstall. Quite annoying when it is working fine other than that.
I suppose one good thing is I should be able to save settings/templates and use again as they were updated for 2021.

You may want to try this:
=========================================
Solution Id: S-078432
Product: SOLIDWORKS 2020 Network Installation
Created: 9/30/2020
Technically Reviewed Date: 10/15/2020
Area: Part
Sub-Area: Draft
Question: Why does SOLIDWORKS® crash when I click the 'Draft Analysis' command even though I have a certified graphics card driver?
Answer: You might have an unregistered library on your computer.
Specifically, you might experience this behavior if the ‘swatcolorlabel.ocx’ file is not registered. To register this file, follow these steps:
1. Close all instances of the SOLIDWORKS® application.
2. Open a Windows® command prompt as administrator ('Run as administrator').
3. At the command prompt, enter:
regsvr32 "[SOLIDWORKS Installation Folder]\swatcolorlabel.ocx"
The following message appears:
‘DllRegisterServer in [SOLIDWORKS INSTALLATION FOLDER]\swatcolorlabel.ocx succeeded.’

Thanks everyone, tried everything in simplicity order and repair was the last stage before reinstalling. Repair worked!!
Re: Removed old Solidworks and now draft analysis not working
I had a similar issue when deploying SW administrative image to my workstations. I used the SLDREG file as a registry file (like it should be), but the SLDREG that SW itself exported had multiple errors inside (e.g. not escaping \ with a \\), making some registry keys end up empty and causing crashes on a lot of commands.
