How to dock Command Bar in SE2023

How do I dock the Command Bar in SE 2023?

This seems to have changed. Double click the title bar of the command bar, and it will snap to the left hand side of the window.

If you are talking about docking it to the EdgeBar like the one in 2022, you can no longer do that. As Matt mentioned it can now be "magnetically" positioned around the perimeter and corners of the graphics window only.

Yea, not sure why they removed that option from the VCB, but one of the reasons given for the exclusive change to it and its redesign is for better new user experience, and part of that is "discoverability" so guessing that providing the auto-hide would conflict with that.

FYI, even though not the default, PathFinder still has the option to dock it and auto-hide. I find it better to dock it to get it off of the graphics area so that the view doesn't "Fit" behind it in 2023.
