Decoding Part Material
I have a model where Material is called out as "PW70:32:C1:0:1:2:Re:8" and Mass Properties shows density as .10lb/in3. How would I figure out what material is referenced?

...yeah, who knows,.. a search on PW70 comes up as a plastic film material or cling wrap,...the remaining could be color and revision?Jonathan Leeper wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 9:29 am I have a model where Material is called out as "PW70:32:C1:0:1:2:Re:8" and Mass Properties shows density as .10lb/in3. Re: Decoding Part Material
Presumably there's no drawing that would shed more light on the matter? Where did the model come from, can you not ask the originator?

Unfortunately, we inherited the model with no drawing. Yes, contractor has been contacted.dave.laban wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 11:20 am Presumably there's no drawing that would shed more light on the matter? Where did the model come from, can you not ask the originator?
I have seen cryptic descriptions like this before, just wondering if anyone had been able to crack the code.
