RGB color matches always appear several shades darker

Unread post by Mike Gera »

Whenever I try to match a real world color, I perceive the SolidWorks color as several shades darker (if not different altogether).

I've attached an example part that I tried to match to this color:

Maybe my lighting is off?

Thanks for any help.

It's the lighting and the scene settings. See this post.
