Think their marketing might pull a Tesla, and a future iteration will be SE-XY?

Pricing seems a bit steep, especially as this is a named user license. Looks similar to 3dx SolidWorks though, basically desktop software with a cloud based PLM (Teamcenter in this case).

Brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls aren't there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to show us how badly we want things.

Jason-
I'm not sold that Siemens is using Teamcenter for these X products. This just might be an extension of the Simcenter Web Apps that are being used to look like Teamcenter. If Teamcenter is part of the X products then how would 2 or 3 subscription users "share" their data and workflows? In this case, you would need a full-blown Teamcenter installed and configured in the cloud. That would not be part of the subscription for X products. If I am wrong here please let me know. This is how I understand these products work.

My concept was that Siemens Marketing would have used SE XE for Xcellerator Enterprise! LOL

Gang-
I was looking at how Solid Edge and NX are now very closely matched. Integration of the PMI functionality and the sketches makes for interesting steps. Do you feel this is another step for Siemens in unifying their CAD products- Similar to the I-DEAS and UG "merger" to create NX. And as a disclaimer- I work for Dassault Systems. But I am asking for my own personal interest because of the nearly 30+ years of working with Siemens products and company.
