The purpose of the interview is to understand how SolidWorks users transition to a different CAD software (the one we're studying) and how they feel using the user interface, tools, to build out parts/create a model. We're looking to understand the pain points associated with the software so that we can help improve the product and ultimately bring in more users.

If you goto the User Interviews link above, there's a participant screener which helps us understand your years of experience etc., to make sure you're a good fit for the research target. Once complete, we'll provide you with a schedule of open slots and you're welcome to pick one at a time that's of convenience to you. If those slots don't work out, we can also adjust to accommodate. Good lord I am getting old. I just signed up and I can't remember. I think Siemens Solid edge. They asked how long you have been using SW and then have you ever used "X" and I can't remember what "X" is. I just know my answer was no

My biggest pain point is convincing my muscle memory that the new interface is better.
