Extend up to Surface not work

All are surface in this video shows. I want to extend the flat surface up to the circular surface but extend up to surface does not work. How to fix it?

Can you attach the file? I tried roughly recreating what you have and it works fine for me. 2021 sp3.

I'm not sure from your picture, but I may know what's going on.
What you are extending up to the surface has to fall within the bounds of the surface. If you are trying to extrude up to a flat surface, you can use a plane instead because planes are infinite. But, SW correctly chooses not to extrapolate outside of the surface you are extruding up to.
Does that make sense?

Wow, you are right. If the surface is planar it works.

Can you post a video or your part of what exactly is failing, because your picture shows it working, right?

Here is part file (2020v). By using Multiple Trim I proceed but I want to know why extended up to surface does not work for this particular part. I tried extended up to surface separately but it worked.
