I installed SP 2.0 yesterday (at home on student license) I can't say anything about performance yet; but reading through new additions; I liked these two updates:
I was just looking back at this thread and saw this comment. It did not work that way for me the one time I used the feature. I created a new folder, opened an Assembly that had last been saved with SW2024, and saved the Assembly as SW2023 in that new folder. It saved the Assembly and all components in that folder, and they were able to be opened just fine with SW2023. Basically, it worked like Pack and Go, but did so while saving to the previous version.john@layketool.com wrote: ↑Thu Sep 14, 2023 7:49 am That feature does work with individual parts but it will not work with an assembly. You would have to open every part that's in the assembly and save it as a previous version in order for that to work.
