@Dennis - Maybe you can't say, but why in the world are they acting so surprised now? I think the movement would have more weight if they would explain why they failed to listen the FIRST time. This..."We are shocked, SHOCKED at how you feel..." demeanor makes them look like even bigger fools. It is one thing to make mistakes, goodness knows I've made some doozies. It's quite another thing to be surprised when you were warned ahead of time.

Someone, or a group of someone's just chalked it up to "everyone hates change" without actually thinking about it.

Let one of them commented we're still in the 90's.

The explanation is simple, did you ever work for a large corporation?, if you did then you'll know what I mean when I say, "Somehow that person is running that department, without any knowledge of what's actually happening", all they do is read reports, set deadlines and product/;inventory baselines, their decisions are all based on that matrix, they could have no clue on the inner workings of the day to day operations on the floor. I really think that they setup Ryan Priddy as a puppet, his whole was constantly being moved by strings that other people had a hold of, its no wonder that today is his last day at SW..

Contact him and see what he got to offer. He won't reach out for no reason. He got me probably because I'm posting "Idea". So in the sense, the system worked. The "idea" will get to someone "who can make the changes".

I'm not 100% entirely sure that is the way they are going, but the few things we've discussed sure pointed that way. I haven't spoke with that guy though, I spoke with Manish rather, but he seemed receptive and consilient. I think they know that the longer it sits as is, the more it hurts them.

Did Suchit Jain got "promoted"?
Or thrown under the bus? Replace Ryan?

My boss doesn't pay me to work for SolidWorks. I am passionate about the program, but this isn't the program.

I don't really see what meetings would change, I see it as their way of trying to convince us, so they're still not giving in IMO.

If this is true are you just assuming they are changing the entire layout and function of the system? Because that is what it would take to make that system near as useable as the old system. No amount of "Tags", Google searches, increased real-estate etc etc will change the fundamental flaw that is the fact that each post takes up WAY to much space forcing posts to scroll out of existence quickly and the responses on the questions are smashed into a tiny column taking up a small portion of the orginal post making them near impossible to read and near impossible to follow.

I posed the question of "Link the longest thread here" over there a while ago. Last I checked no one has responded with a thread that was actually created on that platform. To my knowledge a long standing thread simply does not exist there and it will never exist there because of the limitations of the platform.

By comparison this thread is longer than any thing over there and this forum is barely over a month old.
