I'm not sure if any of you have been introduced to PDQ Bach. As I remember it, much of his humor was an inside joke to musicians, most of the prerequisite knowledge I've forgotten over the last 35 years. It was also for a 1970's ish audience (similar to Victor Borge,) which I'm assuming hasn't aged well. Back in the day, I found him hilarious.
I just learned that Peter Schickele passed earlier this month. Even though I haven't thought of him in 30 years, I can't help but think the world is lesser, without him around.
