I tried to pack and go an assembly, the local drive in "Save to Folder" appeared as a server folder c:\\
Is there an option to change the folder back to c:\

If you double-click the folder name, it should bring up an editing box to change it.

I understand that. The assembly includes hundreds of parts and I'm supposed to do it hundreds of times?

Got it. In my experience, it defaults to whatever folder the top level assembly resides in.

For a workaround, save it as a zip file and unpack that in the folder you want.

I have no advice to offer. I'd just like to know what kind of part is called a "Discriminator".

We design and manufacture check scanners, https://www.digitalcheck.com, so this device is used to separate single check/document from a stack, similar as in printer machine

You should have lied to us...What a let down...I was hoping it was a pulse laser rifle or something fun...

Why not click on browse folder button in the pack and go window and select the desired path. This will change it for all the components.

it's my bad and I shouldn't post that image with that part's name. I believe it's not wise to bring this up

This is because you have "Keep full folder structure" option selected. Change it to "Flatten to single folder"

I want "keep full folder structure" option. Why there is extra "\" after the drive letter

You will see this issue only when selecting the drive as path but not if you select a folder on the drive. This is an issue/bug in my opinion, so you should report.

Below is the reason for the issue

Original Path

C:\SOLIDWORKS\Sample Files\Joint Assy

New path selected

D:\

"keep full folder structure" option selected

New Final Path will be

D:\ + \SOLIDWORKS\Sample Files\Joint Assy = D:\\SOLIDWORKS\Sample Files\Joint Assy
