Step files only surfaces?

Unread post by VTmechie »

I am trying to import the bracket on this inductor:

It imports as surfaces only. Is there an easy way to make this a model with solid bodies?

Hi VTmechie,

So, it looks like your import settings are not set for Stitching?
If you set to stitch, you still will not get a clean solid, because, the data does not include some of the surfaces (I checked in two other software)
With what I get, the fast way is just RMB over the bracket surface and select Tangency and Offset 0 and Thicken 1mm.
