You have to hide annotations, right click on the annotations folder in your feature manager and uncheck "Show annotations".

Kind of tricky though, if you use floating notes inside your parts/assemblies.

Thanks, but that will turn off Shaded cosmetic thread too.
Isn't there any way to turn off the weld symbols only?
