Can I display actual lineweights

I'd like to display on my screen the true lineweights in a drawing regardless of how much my display is zoomed in. I doubt this is possible, but I thought I'd check. Adobe Illustrator does display lineweights according to their actual thickness, so they appear thicker on the screen as you zoom in. When using Solidworks, it is a little frustrating to zoom in, get a detail to look right, then zoom out and see that lines now overlap.
Just checking.
Thanks
Dwight

I think there is a setting.
You might need to set up lineweight first.
By default, SW use all the same.

I have control of the lineweight settings, and they turn out to be correct in a drawing print. It's the display during editing that is the issue.

No, the onscreen line thickness display is fixed relative to the screen. The line thickness values are only for printing.

Not sure that i understand. I can see line weights no problem:
Wait...I think that what you are asking is that you don't want the line to scale with the zoom level.
In other words, if you have a thick line weight, you want the line to fill the view when you zoom in closely.
Hrmm. If that is indeed the case, then I don't believe that this is possible.

Thanks, everyone. It would be nice if SW were more WYSIWYG. I may put in a request.

I think all CAD tools operate this way don't they. Autocad for a long time didn't show line weight on screen but added the option later. I believe it works the same way......unless you use polylines with thickness.

PS
I have that off.
It's looks great at first.
When you got busy assembly drawing, those thick line will be annoying when you need to pick something to dimension.
