Hello All,
New user to the forum here. I have an issue with SolidWorks 2020 SP5. I have an assembly with several different configurations, with a design table. Whenever I save a single configuration as it's own assembly, it will not open and it encounters an error. This only happens if I close the assembly with the multiple configurations (i.e. open the new saved configuration assembly by itself with nothing else open).
If I open the new saved configuration assembly, while having the main configuration assembly open, it will open just fine. I can then delete the design table and save it and it then becomes usable as a separate assembly.
It looks like it may be something with the design table.
Has anyone came across this issue before?
Thank you

Re: Saving Configurations - Design Table Issue
Hello, and welcome to the forum. If all else fails, you can make copies of the Assembly and delete the unwanted configurations in each.

Re: Saving Configurations - Design Table Issue
Can you be a bit more specific as to what error it encounters..? It sounds to me like an issue with external references.
