Display of failed features in an assembly when selecting a part

Unread post by BrianHoerner »

Folks,

We are currently using SW2022 SP5, and have started noticing that if you select a part that has rebuild errors while in an assembly, there is a drop down showing them. Doesn't matter if you pick in the feature manager or select the part within the assembly, see snapshot below.

I have not been able to find a way to turn this function off, though haven't spent a huge amount of time on this, so am wondering if anyone here has an answer on how to disable this function...features :D

Thanks,
Brian

It's worked that way all the way back to 2017 (the earliest version I have), if not further. I don't think it can be turned on/off. Best way to get rid of it is to fix the model. :D

There is the Pro/E way of forcing you to fix the errors before doing anything else.
