Hello, and welcome to the forum. I assume you mean a Solidworks drawing (.slddrw)? If yes, the best option would probably be to have someone with the Solidworks software save it as .dwg.
If that's not a possibility then hopefully someone else will be able to help. I have very little experience with Autocad.

Which Solidworks file?
SLDPRT, SLDASM, SLDDRW?
Export SLDPRT, SLDASM to STEP or Parasolid.
Export SLDDRW to dwg or dxf.

I use SolidWorks drawings, create my views in 1:1 scale and then export as DWG with 1:1 input.

From Autodesk support:
Issue:
How to convert or import a Solidworks file into AutoCAD.
Solution:
Do either of the following:
Import the Solidworks file directly into AutoCAD.
On the command line in AutoCAD, type IMPORT.
In the Import File dialog window, click the Files of type drop-down menu and select Solidworks (*.prt; *.sldprt; *.asm; *sldasm).
Find and select the Solidworks file and click Open.
Note: After this step, the import is complete.
If the item does not appear in the drawing then right-click and select Insert on the import tray icon.
If needed, on the command line, type INSERT to insert the Solidworks block(s) into the AutoCAD drawing.
From Solidworks, export the data to a different file format. See: What file formats can AutoCAD import?.
Check for the Latest updates for AutoCAD 2023 & Install pending updates if any.
Note: This option is not available in AutoCAD LT.
If you have solidworks it way better to do save as on the slddwg file and save it as a DWG file.
