Hello, I am using Solidworks 2015 and trying to create a custom titleblock. How do I show the "variables, $PRPSHEET" etc.. for the custom properties in my titleblock after I have created them?

They should show up when you edit the sheet format, then disappear visually when you exit the editing of the sheet format.

Hi Dan, thanks for taking the time. I am not creating custom properties to be filled in from the model but rather custom properties from the sheet. If I open my template file, RMB, select "edit sheet format", I do not see any properties. I then create a note (not typing anything here) and select "link to property" and select the property from the "current document" drop down list. I can briefly see the property, but when I click the green arrow, the note disappears.

I prefer using the "Link to Property" icon. That way I don't have to worry about getting the syntax correct.

By the way, to edit an existing note you can use the method @zxys001 posted above, or just double-click on the note.
