Cloud computing is no longer a slam dunk.

I've watched or seen a few stories like this that say many of the factors that made cloud computing attractive 10 years ago are no longer the same.

Not sure what that means for companies who are pushing their customer base to the cloud.

Jesus, I wanna create more accounts for the sole purpose of hitting that like button more. This article is very well articulated and explains how there is so much more complexity to transitionning from one to the other then simply saying "Oh, we're moving to the Cloud!"

Cost is such a big issue, cloud often ends up being a more expensive option with all things considered.

Sure, if your company has a hundred locations across the world and they need to access the same data/software it will probably be the best option.
