That would be useful....

However, did you know that you can change the display state for multiple components all at once?
Simply SHIFT select (or CTRL select) multiple components, then RMB on them and select properties. If they are all the instances of the same part (which would be the case with a pattern), then you can select the display state and it will change for all of them at once.

Yes I knew about that, I'm just trying to avoid having to select them one by one. It's really not that big of a deal but it would save some time in some cases.

In my case, they are sub-assemblies most of the time so I would need to select the level of the sub-assembly in order to change the display state. That's a pretty cool to know option though.
