Ace Rust Stop Spray Paint

Unread post by SPerman »

It isn't often that I come across a product that impresses me so much that I feel the need to sing it's praises to the masses. Well, I've had one of those moments.

I've used a lot of spray paint over the years. I can't honestly say I've used good spray paint in over a decade or two. I will admit that my technique is to put on a couple of heavy coats, and get on with the day. But there have been times I wanted to do a good job and struggled with what was available from the major brands.

The only spray paint I will ever buy again is Ace Rust Stop. I've used it twice now, and both times it has impressed the heck out of me. It has waaaay more pigment than most brands, and that also means way less solvent. It produces great coverage, and even though I was really laying it on, I never saw a single run. I think that is the beauty of less solvent. Because it covers so well, a single can goes a long way. About the only con I can think of is that it doesn't come in as many colors as the other brands.

Saying this is the best spray paint I've used in the last couple of decades is like saying chocolate chip cookies are better than brussel sprouts. It's not even in the same league.

Brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls aren't there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to show us how badly we want things.
