Broken profiles are an artistic treat for welders and forgers. They can be used as decorations, frames, or container elements.

However, designing such elements is not particularly intuitive in the CAD environment.

So how do you adapt to constant changes when more and more plants have CNC profile cutting machines?

In this tutorial, you will find an example of a broken profile (cut and bent) in the form of a star shape.

This example is optimized for laser cutting. The profile model has the ability to be automatically straightened in order to define the prefabricated part that will come out of the numerical machine.
Additionally, the tutorial shows a configurator that allows for immediate adjustment of the geometry.
