Yeah, I kinda knew that, but I liked the "brick in the wall" reference.

Maybe you want to create an announcement for this so that people are aware of this?

That's a really cool logo Krysztof, and the slogan is also really good!

Thanks Alex.
I don't remember if I wrote in the old forum that I used to have a small advertising agency. At that time, I got infected with 3D. It ended with my marriage (not 3D - company).
As for the slogan. I think most of us here are above programmers. Primo: We find ways to do something that is impossible for them. Secundo: The customer should be at the top. DSS forgets about it.

Ok, I updated the voting to include @Krzysztof Szpakowski entry. Remember, you can change your vote, and you've got until Monday.

Yeah, some of the themes don't work well with the new header. Purplexion, Prosilver, Supernova, Carbon, Flat, Chester Blue, clean silver

Quantum Codex seems to ignore the new header.

Recommended themes are Elegance, Breeze, Prolight is ok. The best in my opinion is Elegance, followed by Flat. I like Breeze, but it doesn't show titles for post responses, just for the original post. So if the title changes somewhere along the way, you will miss that.

We may have to trim out some of these themes.

What has happened is that I've used an extension to change the header, which works across multiple themes. If I hadn't done that, I would need to go into each theme's files and edit the php code, which would be a lot more work.

For what it's worth, I'm using Flat Style Gold:
- the links: Board Index, Board Business, etc. are dead, just plain text.
- Looks nice though
- new google search tool (part of the banner) is dead
- the link: https://cadforum.net/index.php in the image does work.

Within the Elegance theme, there are several color schemes. Flat also has blue and gold options.

From an earlier post. Maybe I need a bigger font.

It's not really a chalkboard, but yeah, that was kind of the general idea. For Christmas, put up some Christmas images, for special events, change the header image. Somebody gets married, we can change it to black.

It's really a swatch of scratched up steel, which I thought might make designers feel at home, and it's kind of generic color which might not clash with some themes.

@matt, what about a brick wall? We can use it to smash our heads against (because the software is not functioning correctly, not because of this forum). o[

Wait! That might damage computer monitors, better not do that!

Thanks for all you do on this site. It is greatly appreciated.

@matt Darn it, I thought it might be an interactive onscreen chalkboard where we could draw inappropriate drawings for everyone to enjoy.

If users need to change settings to accommodate the layout. The site is BROKEN.

BROKEN.

BROKEN

.
BROKEN
.

also your indent is broken

I showed everyone else how to use the Indent functionality before, but I can run through it again for you.

For example,

Code: Select all
12
Text that you want indented 12 pixels
gives you
Text that you want indented 12 pixels

This information also shows up in the tool tip for the indent function.

It isn't microsoft or word perfect. The number is the number of pixels you want to indent the text after the closing /indent. It's not perfect, it's not ergonomic, it's phpbb. Slightly more user friendly than html and an additional acronym you can put on your resume UU Fun, huh?

Just so long as you aren't more than 18" away from the screen...any further than that and you'll need a 16k monitor...
