Sooo... Not an advertisement, but sure seems a good deal at $359: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/an ... 3d-printer
An interesting bed leveling tech, out of the box set to print at 80mm/s, silent steppers, 32 bit board, etc. The only thing my Ender 5 plus has better is a square frame gantry.
I'm also wondering how well it prints flexible TPU out of the box.

Hey @Frederick_Law, does this look like a good deal? Seems easy to put together and may be a good choice for someone wanting to get into 3d printing.

But the firmware doesn't appear to be stock Marlin which may be a problem going forward...That's definitely the case with my Ender 5 plus.

$359 is not bad. I won't buy another new FDM.
Resin one maybe.
Gantry FDM are all the same now.

You can get your Ender 5 plus to all except auto leveling.
Mine don't ran out of level. Unless the thumb screws got lose. I don't have spring on the bed anymore.
I add a screw for the Z-stop to adjust first layer.
I've longer boden tube and TPU is ok. Just slow it down. And do the TPU mod on the stepper.
Currently running Repetier on i3 clone.

For controller I'm looking for 32bits with 3 or 4 extruder.
FDM I'll look for one with bed only move up and down.
You can print faster when bed is not moving.
Tall parts are problem on most i3 design.
