What is the story on Siemens xcelerator?
What would you like to know? Xcelerator is a software product portfolio + software (app) development platform. Don't get confused this is not "platform". That term is being used to define Mendix whichs is a app development tool.
Siemens has a HUGE list of software applications/brands. Xcelerator is your flavor of all these different tools, delivery methods and apps rolled together. It's a branding tool used to describe how digital twin can be leverage throughout the lifecyle of a product and help build the product, plant and sevice digital twins. It also includes Mendix which allows you connect data silos like ERP, MES, PLM, PDM, CRM, data lakes, etc. Oh and don't forget MindSphere for the IoT side of your poduct.
Right now, and in my opinion, for quite a while to come, Siemens is the only company to provide all these tools.
