Interesting as with many of the newer PLM's out there... watch them get bought and .... disappear.

Pretty common. We started evaluating PDM/PLMs back around 2000 and looking at the list, so many are gone or bought up and absorbed/cancelled.

Agile (Bought by Oracle)
Arena (Was BOM.com, now purchased by PTC)
Cyco AutoManager
Eigner (Bought by Agile)
Imation (Bought by Eigner)
Matrix (Bought by Dassault)
Motiva (?)
ProductCenter(Bought several times, still a product it appears)
Smarteam (Bought by Dassault, not sure if its still sold)

Yes I understand, solidworks PDM don`t feels future safe so what you recommend. Aras?

We're checking out DDM (https://www.designdatamanager.com/) right now and comparing it with TeamCenter Rapid Start. They're more similar than you might think, although TC is still substantially more capable. DDM is a small company based out of the UK.

I believe PDM will last as long as SolidWorks desktop does. Not everyone needs or will pay for Enovia (3dexperience). Not to mention they just added the Manage product not that long ago.
