If so, have you nailed what causes it and have you discovered a workaround?
Almost anything can trigger this error, sometimes editing a sketch or reloading the gauge table will trigger it. It seems to be totally random. "Usually" reloading a copy of the gauge table from a different folder will fix it for a while.
According to 1208431 this was fixed in SP 4.0. I have SP 4.1 installed on my machine and I still get this error. My VAR said, "Well, they had to release SP 4.1 so shortly (according to her SP 4.0 was removed on a Monday and 4.1 was released on a Friday) that it might not have all the repairs listed in SP 4.0." It seems to me SP 4.1 should have all the changes listed in 4.0 plus the ones listed in 4.1.

I've had this happen to me in the past, and yes it is random. As to why this happens, I can't say. The only workaround that I was able to come up with at the time was to forgo the gauge table and enter the k-factor. I'm running 2020 SP5.

VAR finally came back to me with a report from SW Corp that said,
This SPR has been fixed in SW 2022 Beta2.
Why is this listed as fixed in SP4.0????? o[
