Fred can you attach the files? Or does this happen on any file set/scenario? Would love to have a play.

The Master is linked to customer part.
Change constrain of the short line from perpendicular with another line to inline with the long line "fix" it.
I'll try to split it to partial.
LOL
Pack n Go don't want to include parts in assembly.
Once I delete a few things in the sketch, the problem went away.
So I got too many entities in sketch.
120 of them.

are the PRT(sketch) and the ASM the same units setting ?
try set it at the maximum 8 digits
and check the "mesuring tool" is set to "use document unit setting"
(this setting is independant for every file, and "wear" by the file)
and the last, but i never touch it yet, in the "mesuring" tool option, there is a "accurency" setting
mine was always to "slow"
maybe set it to middle, and change some strange mesearement-odd-thingy.

Yes and yes.
No ASM, all part. All start with same template.
Insert part with sketch in new part to make model.
Master Sketch workflow.
Problem is not measurement.
Problem is SW extrude the part with an extra edge which mean the 2 face are not "inline".
Hence I went and measure.
Found out the sketch inserted is "different" then the original sketch.

I mentioned this one in the similar thread back at the soon-to-be-dead forum, but one of my biggest frustrations with SW inconsistency is with editing linear patterns and mirror features in Assemblies. In my industry it's not uncommon for me to need to add components to these features. If I edit a mirror components feature the property manager opens with the components to mirror box active, so I can immediately start selecting items to add.
When I edit a linear pattern feature the property manager opens with the direction for the pattern box open. I still occasionally forget and select the component I want to add to the pattern, which replaces the original direction selected, so I have to X out of the edit and start over.

Talking about circular pattern:

SW don't know how to count?
Is it 4 or 3?

for this, it's better set :
total spacing
number 8
remove occurence (select the one on the right)

Of course.

I think that's intentional.....the second direction can't include the seed or the total would be incorrect. It is kind if weird looking at it, but making direction 2 a quantity of 4 as well would be strange too when considering the total.
I tried in Inventor, it doesn't have an option for direction two, just midplane which does what "Symmetric" does.

Sooo.............selection order now matters with SWX?
Check this out. When mirroring bodies, it will not allow you to select a sheet metal body if another body is already selected.
But if you select all the sheet metal first, you can then select non-sheet metal bodies.

===============================
SPR #: 580149
Product: SolidWorks
Status: Open
Fixed in: none none
Area: Parts
Sub-Area: Feature - Mirror
Summary:
Some solid bodies cannot be selected for mirror; 'Only one body may be selected in a sheet metal part' tooltip displays)
Technical Comments:
To work around this, clear the mirror feature's selection(s) and select the bodies that previously could not be selected first.
================================
Same problem exists as far back as 2017 SP5, which is the oldest version I have running.

Yeah, that's the workaround I used. And for this part, I caught it soon enough that it wasn't a problem. However there will be cases where clearing the selection and re-applying is guaranteed to break features farther down the tree (aka the Cascading Christmas Tree).
But hey, we really can't complain. It's only been four years........

The SPR seems to have existed only since December 2020, so it's only been 7 months. The problem had been unnoticed/unreported for quite some time.

I wonder how long many of these problems have actually existed where people just figure out the workaround and go about their business. I've done this dozen of times because most of the time it's faster to try a few things rather than searching for the answer, send a support request etc.

Every once in a while I catch myself using a workaround I've committed to muscle memory only to find that SolidWorks fixed it along the way.

I've recently become aware that my current version of SoiledWORKS no longer allows the "Measure" Dialog box to be closed with the Escape Key..?
Or.... Is it just me..??!

Or changed something that did work well to something that is more cumbersome...

OMG.. So simple. that one did slip by me. I do not recall "Pinning" it, and nor would I, but, meh.. It works like it should now.
Many thanks good Sir..

I think in 2018 or 2019 the install somehow changed that setting. I remember running into the same issue.
